Bocchi the Rock! Theatrical Compilation Part 2 Tops 500 Million Yen in Box Office, Total Gross Reaches 1.14 Billion Yen


Kessoku Band’s digital EP "We Will" is now available for streaming as of September 6, 2024, with the full album set to release on November 6, 2024. 


According to Mantan Web, the second installment of the theatrical compilation for the TV anime Bocchi the Rock!, titled Bocchi the Rock! Re: / Re:Re:, has achieved remarkable success since its release on August 9th. The film has already surpassed 500 million yen in box office revenue and has attracted over 330,000 viewers, solidifying its status as a major hit. 

The first installment, which premiered on June 7, garnered 640 million yen in revenue and drew more than 420,000 viewers. Combined, both parts of the compilation have amassed over 1.14 billion yen, highlighting their widespread popularity and financial success.

In other Bocchi the Rock new updates, Kessoku Band's new EP of the live tour Kessoku Band ZEPP TOUR 2024 “We Will”, is now available digitally ahead of its CD release on November 6. The EP features four songs created by Kessoku Band members from a near-future setting, with contributions from Chiaki Sato (vocalist of Kinoko Teikoku), the rock band 04 Limited Sazabys, Nobuo Ohki (vocalist of ACIDMAN), and Shinya Ishihara (vocalist of Saucy Dog). It will be available for pre-release streaming on September 6th.
